About Us
Phil Strasser’s tertiary qualifications and work experience are in
food. He graduated from Ryde College of TAFE in Sydney with a Certificate
in Catering as well as a Diploma in Hospitality Management.
He worked for 3 years in chef positions as well as supervisory and assistant
management positions in Sydney and Toronto, Canada before setting up
his own takeaway shop which he eventually converted into a salad bar
in Martin Place. Since then, he operated a takeaway salad bar in North
Sydney.
Phil is extremely passionate about food. He loves to cook and create
food products for those who love good quality home cooked food. The
dressings are a testament to his passion and he gains enormous satisfaction
in knowing that people have either enjoyed his cooking or his bottled
dressing.
“I had a very clear reason to bottle my own sauces and dressings. That
is to lift an ordinary meal to an extraordinary level. Whether it to
be to dress a salad, to marinate red or white meat for barbequing, or
roasting chicken drumsticks, my aim is to give these meals a truly genuine
restaurant quality edge”.
